The challenge
Everight Diagnostics runs a commercial laboratory network across 5 locations in Nigeria, with its records managed through MedX. More than 30 diagnostic machines, though, sat outside that system. Every result had to be keyed in by hand, which slowed work down and opened the door to transcription errors across all 5 sites.
What MedX did
MedX connected all 30+ diagnostic machines into one shared FHIR data store using its Device Connectivity solution, powered by MedX Automation. Results now flow straight from each instrument into MedX, so the same LIMS tools the team already used now run on live, automated data across every location. The full rollout took 8 weeks.
